Casa Rosa

Tankah Bay, Quintana Roo, Mexico
BEACHFRONT ELEGANCE:
Casa Rosa is a beautifully designed beach front house located on the Mayan Riviera, one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world, and nestled on a private stretch of sand known as Tankah Tres (3). All the homes in Tankah Tres are on 1/2 acre lots, so there's lots of peace and quiet. The palm tree shaded house is less than 50 feet from the Caribbean and you can swim, snorkel, kayak or just play in the warm turquoise water, or take in the whole picturesque scene seated poolside. This relaxed luxury appeals to both children and adults! |

Bill,
Just got home and all I can say is WOW!!! Casa Rosa is an awesome house. Maria and Bernarido were incredible and cooked us a great meal one night. (We should have had them do it more often!) The house is even better than it looks on your WEB page. Very spacious and the pool was an added bonus. The "new" 307 highway made traveling so easy. Getting through Playa was a bit of a hassel...way to much traffic.
We are ready to book again!

We just got back 3 days ago from 8 nights at Casa Rosa We shared it with our best friends. Four adults and four teenagers. It was so perfect. It was very hard to leave and come home to Issaquah Washington. There was a 45 degree temp. change.
Each morning we would get up make smoothies and go sit in the sun on the beach.
We found Casa Rosa on the net through Bill in Tulsa. Everything was perfect. We loved Bernadino. So friendly, nice and helpful. Marie is a very hard worker. She goes above and beyond. She seems to be a little on the shy side. We really enjoyed our meal the two prepared for us!!
We didn't know that we had a guard every night. Wow, what a treat. Noel is a very nice man. He gave us all of the privacy we need. We did give him a tip. He deserved it. We weren't sure so we showed him we appreciated him. That would be a nice thing to know about having a guard.
I do not think that Casa Rosa needs anymore amenities. We where so taken care of. The help works very very hard. You are very lucky to have them. They take great care of your place!!!!! It felt really good giving them a nice tip at the end of our stay.
Half way through our stay we switched master bedrooms. That way each couple got to spend 4 nights in the wonderful upstairs master. I have been very crabby since we came home. I realize I wanted to not leave paradise.
The sea kayaks were great. Great snorkeling out by the white buoys. We had a lot of people tell us we had the best place on the beach. It was so true. We got to drink coconut milk and eat the meat that Bernadino cut open for us. The boys loved the hammocks. The pool was an added bonus.
Our oldest son had a cold when we left and it turned into a bad sinus infection. We were worried about going to a Dr. in Tulum. But we had to go anyway. As you go into town it is on the left hand side. Dr. Evencio V. Ramirez Salazar. It is maybe half way down the street.
He spoke very good English and was very thorough. This would be nice to have in the info book. He charged $100. We then walked down to the nearest pharmacy for the medicine. His wife sits in the front of the Dr. office with their little boy and when you come in she walks in back to get him. They were very nice. It can be a little scary thinking about seeing a Dr. in Mexico. Good info for travelers.
We did shop at the Chomak store in Akumal. We felt is was very exspensive. The store in Tulum is much better. More to choose from and much better prices. It is on the right as you first come into town. San Francisco, I believe it was called. We loved Charlie's for dinner.
Thank you so much for our wonderful trip. It was like a paradise each morning we woke up. We hope we can make it back again some day.
