Living room & sun patio The house's overall design is architecturally pleasing and spacious with with exterior balconies, walkways, patios and an elevated sun terrace facing the Caribbean. The sunken living room is the most striking design element as it overlooks the sea and pool. Tall panoramic windows flood the living room with lots of flitered sunlight and two comfortable sofa areas ensure plenty of room for socializing and enjoying the view. Satellite TV and a CD/cassette player are provided but you may want to bring some of your own music. The wall of glass wraps around three quarters of the living room's perimeter giving a dramatic view of the Caribbean and out on the sun patio and swimming pool. On the pool patio are sling-back chairs and a charcoal grill for cookouts.
Bedrooms Ina Tan Kanab has four air conditioned bedrooms in two different buildings connected by walkways. Three of the four have a full ocean view with either two double beds, or one king and one single bed. Each of these has a balcony or patio overlooking the ocean. The fourth bedroom is on the garden side of the house and has two single beds which can be pushed together to make a king. All bedrooms have just been refurbished with new linens and whisper quiet air conditioners, in fact the entire house has been recently renovated and upgraded with new floors, textiles and air conditioning (bedrooms only). The master suite with the king size bed and single bed is accessed by a spiral stairway from the living room that opens to a glass-block atrium at the entry of the room.
Kitchen, restaurants & nearby Ina Tan Kanab has an equipped kitchen with large dining room table, plenty of counter space and lots of wonderful filtered sunlight through its glass wall. A charcoal grill for cook-outs is nearby out on the sun patio. Restaurants in both north and central Akumal are within easy walking distance since the house is located mid-way between Half Moon Bay and Akumal Bay. Two stocked grocery stores are located in central Akumal and two convenience stores are close by in north Akumal for last minute items. For a good time try La Buena Vida's restaurant and swing bar on Half Moon Bay or the Lol-Ha beach bar restaurant on Akumal's glorious main beach.
