Morning all.

Kids are getting older and this will likely be our last AI vacation (thank God!). Planning to expose them to the wonders of life off the resort. Did Tulum last year and plan to do Coba this year. Great trip report (although a little old) on Coba. Was hoping someone could give me advice on some Cenotes to visit. We will be staying in PDC but wil rent a car for a couple of days. Links to trip reports would be good too.

Thanks for your help
Mike

My favorite cenotes are Grand Cenote and Dos Ojos.

Do you do your own thing and just turn up or do you book ahead?

I assume you are interested in snorkeling with the kids instead of diving the cenote? We usually dive so the trip is booked with a dive shop. I hear Hidden Worlds does a good trip. Also, I am sure your resort offers a snorkel trip. That is how we got started.

If you have rented a car, you can always visit on your own. I would recommend you have Can-Do map with you.
