Winter vacation

Our plans are shaping up, and they are definitely different than the orignal ones. Due to 'stuff' happening in the family, we simply can't be gone as long as we had hoped. Holbox is just too far away this time, so we are driving to Puerto Vallarta instead. We will be gone about 4 weeks instead of eight. We are looking forward to exploring a part of Mexico that we really haven't seen much of in several decades, and this time we will be driving/camping with two dogs.

Oh I am so jealous! We just decided last night that our plans to drive with our dogs to Tankah are not going to come to fruition this year. I am really bummed out since I was looking so forward to the trip - for us, the drive is part of the fun. Unfortunately we don't feel like we can be away from work for 5 or 6 weeks this year. Usually we can pull it off but I have too many clients that may take exception to having their realtor gone right now. So..... we booked the tickets last night. It makes me so sad but in the whole scheme of it we are lucky to be able to go at all! Just gonna miss my doggies Crying or Very sad

Thanks, Ann. We've acquired a used Winnebago View and a new puppy since our last drive, so it will be a new adventure. Have fun in Tankah!

The motorhome is packed, and we are ready to head out early in the morning. We have a 10 year permit for that pretty Winnebago View, a year of insurance, certificates of health for the dogs, our passports, lots of food, cold weather and warm weather clothes. It's time to leave this single digit cold and 6 inches of snow behind us!!
