We are in a campground in Guadalajara tonight. It's in an old, very quiet part of an otherwise modern busy, noisy city. We are in a neighborhood of cobblestone streets, flowering trees, and everyone is sitting outside their houses visiting with each other and eager to help obviously lost gringos Wink

The GPS coordinates we had were off ever so slightly and we ended up on the wrong side of a brick wall. The guys sitting on the curb were very helpful, but unfortunately the fourlane just outside the neighborhood made it difficult to get to the other side. In the meantime we ran across a wonderful Mega and were able to restock the the refri and pantry.

The puppy dogs are glad to be off the bumpy roads and out of stop-and-go traffic. The Tramper puppy fell off the couch and into the back of Don's seat at one point today during a sudden stop. Thankfully he is very resilient. It is also wonderful to have him housebroken!!!

Sounds like fun! I can picture the people looking at the "lost Gringos" we experienced that same thing a couple of years ago when we were renting a house in San Cristobal for a few days. We had always stayed at the south end of town - which has really grown, and we were trying to find this place in one of the northern barrios. Not in a camper but in those narrow streets the suburban felt big enough as it was. How old is your pup? Ours just turned 7 months and I was just thinking tonight about being glad the potty training is in the past!

Tramp will be 6 months next week. We got him when he was 9 weeks old, and then I spent a little more than 3 exhausting months getting the potty training done. It was well worth the effort though. It's fun having a puppy around again.

Since we drive a 24 foot Winnebago View, it's not much different than driving a van. That makes it easier to maneuver in the many tight situations we find ourselves in here in Mexico
