driving directions from Border to Quintana Roo

I seem to remember a post from Ann, I think, who gave wonderful driving directions from the border to Ouintana Roo. Is it possible to post those again?

I have removed the directions for the present time as there are a number of updates and changes that need to be made, and I do not have the time to make them right now. If someone is in a pinch please email me through the private messages and I will try to help.

Please be advised that the bank is closed at the Los Indios border crossing on Sundays. Additionally, the immigration office shuts down early. So, if you need to turn in your permit, you will need to go to elsewhere to cross the border.
