I will be arriving in Cancun on December 18 and looking to immediately go south to less touristic regions. I'm really looking forward to doing some diving but I'm on a pretty tight budget. I was considering Cozumel but the mention of cruise ships is a turn-off. Majahual sounds interesting but I'm open to suggestions. Can anybody recommend some good dive spots off the beaten path? Thanks for the help!

Xcalak. It is about an hour drive south from Majahual. Click on "Diving and Sailing" in the pull-down menu of Bill's Directory in upper right corner of this page, then click on XTC Dive Center for info. Hope you find the magic. best Bryan Smile
