South Akumal is coming back. People are out working cleaning up, all of the
houses look like they are in good shape. Our main problem is with power,
there are poles down between Akumal Beach Resort and South Akumal and they
are in a swamp which is making it hard to get into the poles and even more
of a problem to dig the hole for them. The CFE man in charge of this
construction stops by the house every morning and gives me updates. He hopes
to have the power on maybe today. All phones are out except for Vardells,
Telmex hopes to have phone on sometime this week.
