It might be nice to have a sticky with the dates people plan to be in the area, that way they can plan get-togethers. I'll go first:

Leaving this Sat. for Casa Playa Maya as first timers to where friends have been before. Not sure what to do about meals, food, etc. when we arrive as it will be evening. Should we eat and or grocery shop prior to arrival at the villa or will there be something to eat there already..? Planning to covert to pesos at airport in Cancun so we can shop if needed. Also, is there fuel or do we risk getting stuck waiting in Cancun at the Car rental agency..? Can anyone help suggest some tips.?

Gary and Lori will arrive Friday, Oct 14th. Heading down to Xcalak on Saturday and will be staying at Casa Carolina for 6 nights. On Friday, Oct 21st, will be staying in Akumal and at the Lol Ha for Happy Hour. Laughing

I'll be in akumal Nov 1-15. Working but it is always fun to meet for happy hour.

Lydia, I will probably be at Lol Ha for Happy Hour on Nov 11. Eric goes to Xcalak for the weekend every 2 weeks, when he is in Xcalak I go to Happy Hour with Lucy and Brianna. Brianna, of course, can only have milk Wink

But hopefully I'll bump into you before the 11th.

Lori, are you guys staying in Akumal on the way to Xcalak? Eric's going to Xcalak tomorrow so I'll be at HH with the girls. If not, we'll try to be there with the whole family on the 21st.

Our flight arrives late so we are staying at Puerto Morelos tomorrow night. Let's plan on HH on the 21st. Would love to see Max and Brianna. I think the last time I saw Max he was about Brianna's age and we were at Alans in Xcalak.

Hope to see Eric at XTC. Plan on diving with Bob all week. See you soon!

Gary & I (Vanette) plan on being at Lol Ha on the 21st and hope to see you there. We leave back for Nevada on Sat evening (the 22nd) so Friday night will be our last night there to have fun & celebrate. I hope we can connect..!!!

I am sure I will be there!!! Friday night happy hour at lolha is a good bet. the clinic will be the next day. Looking forward to seeing you!

Well, shucks, we (Steve and Sharoonie) won't be there on the 21st of this month BUT we WILL be there from Jan 30 to FEb 28. WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOoooooooooo

So I guess we´re off for meeting at Lol Ha tonight. One thing I have learned is that the people who live, work, and build on the coast of Quintana Roo are very resilient. Most places were back in business within weeks after Emily. So I´m sure it just a short time we´ll all be celebrating the rebuilding at Happy Hour at Lol Ha.
