| A
vacation at Villa Leona in Soliman Bay, on a secluded beach, set
among tropical palms, will be further enhanced by the exciting
atmosphere of a jungle safari. The villa roof; is thatched; the
ornaments and decorations are authentic allowing you to experience
another culture. |
|
|
|
You
will be transported far from your home routine and your daily
schedule as you tread on zebra and leopard design carpets and
relax on furniture constructed of local leather and woods. Many
of the accessories actually came from Africa and to complete
the authenticity are photographs on the walls actually snapped
in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa by the owner.
|
| Villa Leona has a first floor
living room with a wild leopard carpet, a couple leather chairs,
coffee table, and a black futon couch and chair that convert to
a queen and single size bed, respectively. Mahogany louvered doors
lead into a beautifully decorated bedroom with a queen size bed,
bedside tables and exotic carpets. A full kitchen, bathroom and
a dining area that seats four are adjacent to the living room
on the first floor. Doors from the dining room open to a private
backyard with greenery and then the beach. The cooling sea breeze
is virtually constant and ceiling fans throughout the house circulate
the air. From the living room a mahogany stair/ ladder ascends
to the loft where a king size bed and second living room are located.
The loft area is candle lit and very romantic. The loft living
room has another queen size futon couch, zebra carpet and is a
comfortable place to socialize. It also has a walkway to a balcony
that overlooks Soliman Bay and the Caribbean. |
|
|
|
Other appealing features are the balcony with its commanding
view of the backyard and the Caribbean, a palapa by the surf
complete with hammock and, of course, the beautiful sandy beach
for perfecting a suntan. For your more energetic moods there
is great snorkeling and a kayak is at your disposal for checking
out and exploring the bay. Following those sand and sea activities
you will want to use the exterior shower to rinse off the elements
before going back inside your jungle dwelling.
|
The beach
side of the villa has a palapa by the surf with hammocks and a
nice sandy beach area that's great for tanning. The snorkeling
is good from here and a kayak is provided for exploring Soliman
Bay. At the side of the house there is a convenient exterior shower
for rinsing off the salt and sand from the beach. If you are looking
for a romantic little hideaway on a secluded stretch of tropical
beach, then Villa Leona is an excellent choice. |
